Reacts with CD36 (GPIIIb), an 85 kDa integral membrane glycoprotein expressed on platelets, macrophages, endothelial cells, early erythroid cells and megakaryocytes. The antibody TR9 cross-blocks binding of FITC-labelled standard antibody OKM5. Anti-CD36 antibodies inhibit adhesive functions (e.g. adherence of infected erythrocytes to target cells)

Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) high-grade protease free Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA). No reconstitution is necessary

Storage

Store in the dark at 2-8°C. Do not freeze. Avoid prolonged exposure to light.

Working Dilution

For flow cytometry we recommend using 20 μl reagent / 100 μl of whole blood or 10⁶ cells in a suspension.
